That Day...

It has been 4 yrs since I had met such a major set back... At my school farewell I was not aware that the worst was about to come... It was my colorful college days... Was happy hanging out with friends... almost, my every evening was theirs... then came that day... I anticipated this, but not as huge as watt it’s supposed to be... For the first time in my life I got jealous about a music player as it has got a rewind key which we humans fail to have even though we master them... Whenever I had been at battle every time I had few faces to chill at... But now all are disappearing one by one... Like in the dawn, how the stars starts disappearing... ppl enjoy dawn with fresh breathe... As them I too did... but without the knowledge that my starts are goanna disappear in near future... Yes... my friends... I wish I had not completed my degree so soon, rather got some more space for them... First they had been few km away from me... but all of a sudden; one evening I received a call from one of my dear buddy.... Happy to hear that he is being offered a job... But thousands of miles apart from my eyesight... Though the news was happier one, I was doomed... I had only 24 hrs for his send off from then... We ppl gathered in one... Volunteered myself for a last pick up from his home to the railway station... I had few other heartbreaking send off's, but this one kept on reminding me that for a year at lest will not be able to see him again... While roaming, chatting and having fun with him all those days I never thought that I would come across such a moment... I am adding this to my blog at this moment where I am about to see my dear buddies after a long gap… Including him… Who knows? After this I might not be able to see few faces at all… Convocation nears…

I have heard that relations are subject to gap's... The way we lubricate it makes it to b either continuous or discrete... Everyone of course comes across such a moment in life at least once... I too had some experience before when I completed my schoolings... I no longer had the same class mates... But still all of them were there or somewhere around... But now time has depicted some serious separations...

It’s really strange and unusual for a guy to express this kinda feeling ... So as I did... never showed up my frowny in there.... But still, after all I’m also a human and I bother about my guy's...

Gyaanothsav-09

Myself along with few other class mates came to college the day before the start of the symposium to get things ready.
The duty of banner preparation was handed over to me. I was not sure about the titles, so I made a note of all those words in a piece of paper… All went fine and the banner came out very well and distinct…
Poor fellow I’m… made note of the caption “Gyaanothsav” and the event names “Concurs” and “Transends” and asked what’s the third event, as that one is familiar, I didn’t note that down. Now notice the banner...

Pleasure Island

Located in midst of crystal clear water, the path to my island is invisible for the sinners… At least few thousand miles away from the nearby land mass in any direction, the only way of getting in here is by thoughts… Being the so called heaven on earth; my land is enchanting for anyone’s retina… The entire island has its own cooing sound which no eardrums regrets to hear… The teeny-petite island comprises of very few hundreds of people… The resources being substantial, love and happiness being plenty, anyone would strive to get in…

All the beings in my land will be exuberant and elated… There is no room for hatred or hunger in my heaven… People over there are happy with what they’d got and never turn envious… Men go for fishing and farming every morning across the splendid island, whereas women spend time to look after their homes and characterize their children … Once the clock hits the evening mark, the entire village turns excited and every evening is spent with fun and joy… Even the sand being nutritious, we would often confuse ourselves whether it’s Treasure Island… Nope, it’s a pleasure island… There is no currency; everything is free of cost…
Shiny flowers, adorable smell, blue-eyed pupil, old fashioned infrastructure, calm sea, glamorous beach, fascinating coral reef’s, clear sky, distinct hill top, magnificent trees, sparkling children, innocent elders, and lot more in abundant for adjectives to describe my pleasure island…

You are always welcome… :)

SPEECH

It has been more than 12 yrs since it happened... He was my senior in my school... I hate listening to speeches and I hardly remember these kinda things for days...I don't remember his name even... But this time it’s an exception... I dunno what made me listen to that... Whether the topic or the person or the way he presented... It was awesome... The speech to the gathering was for about 5 minutes and the speech was about SPEECH... I had something called as communication lab in my engineering in which I was asked to speak about a topic for sometime... Without any hesitation I decided to replicate the event which influenced me... I spoke the same…

It went like this… Speech is the vocalized form of human communication by definition but very few speeches don’t just merge away with air, instead it merges with people… All beings communicate… But the only difference between human and animals is the ability to speak… Speech is used to inform or to instruct or to entertain or to persuade… This can be taken as the basic classification of speech... Speech is a powerful tool… People use it for several purposes… At times it can be constructive and at the same time it can be destructive too…Then that speech went for another fewa minutes which comprised of humour and information with claps and laughs interrupting here and there and then finally he came out of dais, concluded the speech and said if u are loud enough you have no need of a mike… Tribute to him and my school...

A peck on the cheek

வெள்ளை பூக்கள் Let white flowers

உலகம் எங்கும் மலர்க வே , blossom all across the globe,

விடியும் பூமி அமைதிக்காக விடிகவே , Let the dawn be for peace,

மண் மேல் மஞ்சள் வெளிச்சம் விழுகவே , Let yellow rays fall on earth,

மனதில் சோம்பல் முறித்து எழுகவே , Let the heart wake up with a refreshment,

குழந்தை விழிக்கட்டுமே Let the child wake up

தாயின் கதகதப்பில், in his mothers warmth,

உலகம் விடியட்டுமே Let the world wake up

பிள்ளையின் சிருமுக சிரிப்பில், with the child’s smile.

..

..

காற்றும் போர் செய்யும், The wars of wind,

மழை பாடும் பாடல்களும், The songs of drizzle,

ஓர் மௌனம் ஓர் இன்பம் தருமோ? Will it give a silence and a happiness?

கோடி கீர்த்தனமும், Crores of poetry,

கவி கோர்த்த வார்த்தைகளும், The lyrics of poets,

துளி கண்ணீர் ஒரு தத்தம் தருமோ? Will it give a drop of tear and pleasure?

ஆஹா..... aahaa...

..

..

எங்கு சிறுகுழந்தை Where the child

தன் கைகள் நீட்டிடுமோ, Directs his fingers,

அங்கு தோன்றாயோ கொள்ளை நிலவே. Let the beautiful moon rise in that direction.

எங்கு மனித இனம் Where human civilization

போர் ஓயிந்து சாய்ந்திடுமோ, Ceasefires the war,

அங்கு கூவாதோ வெள்ளை குயிலே? Won't the white cuckoo sing there?

ஆஹா.. aahaa....

Best of the worst moments in my life...

dix.) Wavering mind sucks... Be Sure about what course you want Or else you will see the worst face of your HM... Switched to CS group after being at biology group for 1 month in my 11th...

neuf.) When I was doing my higher secondary, I tried catching a ball in enthusiasm and got my right middle finger jammed... Then realized that a Short put Ball is too heavy for a Cricketer to catch, no matter how good you are at fielding skills...!!!

huit.) The same year i fell spinning from my bike... Its mere stupidity to catch hold of the front brakes... That too when there is no necessity to do so in a free road...

sept.) I was not aware about the impacts of my higher secondary results...else i would have done my level best to avoid those.. When i stood before Mr.Y.Venkataramani for admission through management quota....He calculated my cut off including my entrance score.. poor old man... saw the low score and asked for entrance score once again... I said that’s all... No more scores to be added still.... he was shocked at seeing the interval between my actual marks and my dept expectation.... (marks-confidential)

six.) I stood almost 2 hrs in front of my HOD when he was red hot tensed... affected staff complained to my HOD and he started his usual advice-cum-scolding’s.. worst part is that the culprit involved was standing beside me and speaking law points to get rid off him....

cinq.) Myself and 3 other guys planned to go to a theme park.. It was just one day trip and it was planned only few hours before we left… We had lots of fun, mainly in the water games.. As it does, the water games induced hunger.. we left the park an hour before the closing time and reached the entrance.. We neither found a shop to have something nor we found a bus to reach the nearby village..We almost fainted.. Then came a crowded bus.. Somehow we caught hold of the footsteps and reached the town.. We just checked the budget and we were shocked to find only 30 bucks available apart from the money meant for return ticket…We couldn’t bare the hunger… Stood in the road for Half an hour with no clue what to do… Finally decided to break up the ticket money too… But it was like a palm in the desert.. A friend of mine found a 20 rs note from his ticket pocket, which was kept months back and which has undergone many washes along with the pant… Thanks to him and his maid who didn’t notice the pocket…

quatre.) My tongue is my only enemy.. was shouting “govindha-govindha” and kidding few ppl... got a bang at my back.... didn’t notice the policeman near me in that jam packed crowd in a temple function... thank god.. I noticed him at least while he was taking took his lathi.... ESCAPE....

trois.) Long bike rides are for real fun.... but risk accompanies it... that too blank roads are fond of accidents.. Friends are angels... an angel overtook me just a couple of seconds before that incident happened and took those scars which were meant for me...else it would have been him who would have taken me to hosp, but it happened vice-versa...

Deux.) Its really paining to miss your beloved bike… What to do… It has become outdated and my dad decided to buy me a new one… We decided to sell the bike… Took it to a mechanic… He agreed… My dad on the spot asked me to surrender the keys to him, but I refused… He asked me the reason.. I just shouted at him in the public and said I need one more day with my bike… Generous mechanic too agreed… I Got a new one the very next day… But still unable to digest the loss of the old one… Still I remember the last ride in my bike in Ben well’s road..

Uno.) Missing my dear buddies after my studies…
